Warriors Max standard energy is 20, with 2 arrows of energy regen.
Only way to increase that its thru items like armor, idols, etc. |

My W's armor is at 27 right now. Like Torkemada said you buy Gladiator's armor which is the only type that has +energy to it IIRC. However, the trade off with this is the armor level is a bit lower than the other types.

Plus Gladiator's Armour looks daft . I mean, what kind of armour would leave your whole chest exposed and still have the nerve to call itself armour? Fair enough, no-one can chop my arms off while I'm wearing it, but that's no bloody consolation if I've got 12 swords rammed straight through my chest is it?!
Erm... yeah. Anyway. Warrior energy is the lowest in the game, and as has been said, the only way to increase it is through items. Unless you're using your secondary profession, however, you will only very rarely find yourself with an energy shortage. |

Warriors energy can be just as high as a Mesmer's if you wear the gladiator's set. Regen will never be the same though.

not really. every character class has a different size pool of energy. Warriors use alot of adrenaline based skills so they don't need alot of energy for their primary. If youre secondary requires a hefty amount of energy then get the Gladiators armor.

Not really. It's all about balance. Warriors have greater strength and the highest armor level. Most warrior skills use very little energy and adrenaline based skills so it really depends on your secondary. I'm a W/E which actually uses a lot of energy, but if you watch what you're doing and don't use anything too energy intensive, it's not a big problem.

I was meaning in comparison to other classes, Below i will post my hp, energy and level and my friends hp, energy and level so you guys can see what I???m getting at:
W/Mo (me): level 8 - 255hp - 20energy E/R (my friend): level 8 - 254hp - 57energy As you can see an E/R at the same level as myself has only one less hp but almost triple my energy, how can this be seen as fair? Ryu |

go through the list of skills in your build and add up the total energy cost of each skill for a total energy consumption for the build(im assuming you're using mostly warrior skills...if you're not then you need to choose a different primary)...then do the same for the Elementalist...Warriors don't use energy, therefore they don't need large pools of available energy.

It's fair because Ele's skills use energy... A LOT of energy. Everything an ele does requires energy. The ele's primary stat is Energy Storage.
Other classes get other stats. My warrior gets strength for armor penetration. My mesmer gets fast casting to get in that extra punch. Etc. |

But the Ele has the same HP as me...... that cant be right as then the only thing that makes a warrior any different is his armour and lack of energy

all characters have the same amount of Base HP per level. the problem you are having is that you expecting the warrior to be an uber damage dealing meanie...and the warrior is NOT an uber damage dealing meanie...he is a tank. Used by a group to take the brunt of the damage so that the damage dealers (Ranger & Elementalists) don't have to worry about taking damage.

The game is designed around a balanced class system. No one class has any more HP than the Other. You'll find later in the game(through experience) that armor is more important than HP. Elementalists get more energy because they require more energy....monks get more pips of energy regen because they require more pips of energy regen...warriors get higher AL armor because they require higher AL armor....they don't require more HP.

Actually, all jobs have exactly the same base HP and Energy (save for Elementalist) when you take their armor off: 100 and 20 with 2 arrows.
It's even possible for a warrior to have more energy than a mesmer in certain cases; like if he's wearing Gladiator's and the Mesmer is wearing the Rogue set. But Warriors have one of the best ways to regain energy during combat: Bonetti's Defense. Four blocked hits and your base energy bar is full. Just like everything else in the game, it all balances out -sam |

If you want more HP, use HP enhancing skills like Demonic Flesh, Endure Pain, and Defy Pain. (2 of those are Warrior Skills)
Or you could use Fetile Season or Symbiosis. |

the reason your ele friend has more energy is his energy storage attribute.only ele primarys have this atttribute.

The problem is you are just looking at the simple HP and energy numbers and making assumptions. Warriors do not need more energy because:
-They have skills that require adrenaline. -They are not designed to be using large energy skills. -They have the best constant damage and are not energy dependent to create damage. -Like any profession, they can use items to increase their energy. -If you are really energy dependent, each profession has energy management skills to help out. Warriors do not need more HP because: -They have the highest base armor and highest armor against physical. -They have some of the best defense skills in the game. -They have skills that increase their HP if needed. -They have the attributes to use shields. -Armor has a higher impact on damage than amount of HP. -They have armor and runes to absorb some damage. So no, to be effective as a warrior you don't need more than 20 energy. And I know a lot of warriors that are efficient with even less total energy. In the end, it's all about balance. You can't have the best of both worlds. But with careful planning, the right profession combination, skill and item choices, you can come pretty close. BTW, no profession gains energy as they level up, so don't think warriors are an exception. Raising your attributes makes your skill worth more per energy, therefore you don't need more energy.
